The best!! We had a wonderful vet before we moved to Wilmington, and I never thought I would be able to find that again. After visiting several clinics and feeling like a number, we found Dr Jen and love her. Everyone at the clinic is top notch. We recently lost our beautiful boy, the care and compassion we recieved was amazing. Dr Jen, Justin, Ellen and Amber went above and beyond. I will forever be grateful.
We’re new to town & got our Puppy groomed locally. Groomer recommended us taking our Dachshund in to be checked because she had some dense tissue on her tummy and said she’d feel better being checked out since we hadn’t noticed it. They got us in quickly and gave her a clean bill of health. We’re going to be using them going forward. You can tell they really cared about my Dog’s overall health.
Doctor and staff was very professional but also very caring and explained the care our pet needed. They also took time to answer all our questions without rushing and showed real concern and compassion for our sweet baby.
My friend recently had a very troubling experience at Clinton Animal Care Center with Dr. Jen Smith. He waited approximately 1.5 hours past his scheduled appointment time. When he was finally seen, Dr. Smith initially refused to perform a scan because his dog was “barking.” The dog was simply vocalizing and is well known to the clinic staff as a gentle, non-aggressive dog. Only after my friend insisted after already waiting so long did she proceed with the scan The scan revealed a lung tumor that was putting pressure on the dog’s airways. Dr. Smith informed him that the tumor was terminal and stated there was essentially nothing that could be done. However, she repeatedly asked about drawing blood to check for worms, which felt confusing and inappropriate given the gravity of the diagnosis
I had a very good experience at Clinton Animal Care Center. My cat Sophie was limping. The folks there were very attentive, caring and efficient. They also communicated clearly to me and thoroughly explained to me what the problem was and what I needed to do to get my Sophie walking again. Thank you Dr. Reeves, Justin and staff!
