CityVet | Lower South End

Took my dog, Nala, to CityVet today for the $45 “Spa Day” (Tuesdays & Thursdays) and it was such a great experience (our first time there and we were seriously impressed). The package included a bath, nail trim, brush out, anal gland expression, and ear cleaning, plus they sent her home with the cutest holiday bandanna. 🥹 Everyone we met, from the front desk to the vet team, was so kind, patient, and welcoming. The customer service was amazing and Nala loved it. They even took a photo of her in front of the Christmas tree and emailed it to me, which was such a sweet touch! We’ll definitely be back (already planning on coming tomorrow for Pup Cup Friday)! Highly recommend!

My former vet at Sharon Lakes Animal Hospital (who I absolutely loved but had left for a new practice too far away) had recommended Dr. Johnson to me. However, her CityVet Lower South End practice was not yet open so I took my cats to a different practice. Now open, I went there a couple of months ago for an urgent appointment. The staff was so friendly, and Dr. Johnson was personable, responsive, caring and approachable. I felt so comfortable with her after that first visit that I’ve now made her our primary veterinarian.

Loved my first visit with my cat. They made her feel very comfortable. Super nice staff. Love the fact that they went over all of the pricing. Even better that this office was opened by a black doctor with black employees. I love seeing Black Women thrive. Super blessed to have found this place and great location.

We were just walking past CityVet LoSo one day and saw their $45 spa day special for the holidays and stopped in… everyone was so extremely kind and loved on our Marley girl so much. We have moved around a lot and Marley has seen many groomers and this was honestly her best bath yet! She has soooo much fur and I am sure they worked their butts off to get her as clean as they did. We will definitely be back!!!

Dr. Johnson and staff are wonderful! I drive 45 minutes to 1 hour because they are worth it. In the 50 years I have had animals she is by far the best Vet I have ever had! They actually get down in the floor with them to make them comfortable.
