Citizen K9 Dog Training And Agility

March 2025: Ellie is still doing weekly enrichment and we also do group classes from time to time. The staff are knowledgeable and caring. (December 2024) Still loving it! Ellie attends enrichment daycare once a week and gets so much attention, engagement, and interaction! 💜 (Spring 2024) So far, so good! My dog loves to go to training/daycare! The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They have a variety of training and boarding options and seem always prepared for what ever comes at them! I love the report card, videos, and pictures. We are half-way through our program and considering staying on! My only suggestion would be explicit instructions or "homework" to help me support their day training.

My Great Dane puppy was scared of everyone and everything. She lacked confidence. After trying another facility, that was a horrible experience, I found Citizen K9. She is a different dog. She loves going there and spending time with the other dogs and the staff. She will even do agility obstacles with them, at her own pace of course. I highly recommend Citizen K9 to anyone looking for a place to work with your dog or just a place for your dog to go during the day rather than stick at home while you go to work

Citizen K9 is absolutely fantastic! From the moment Sawyer started, I knew he was in the best hands. The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable and patient, and it's so evident that they genuinely love my dog as their own. Every report card I received highlighted Sawyer's progress and the specific skills they were working on, which I really appreciated. I've seen such a positive change in Sawyer's behavior and confidence since attending Citizen K9. It's more than just a training facility; it's a place where your dog is truly cared for and nurtured. I am so grateful for all of the crew I've met at Citizen K9. Brandy is a disciplined, logical, and empathetic trainer. Sheila is an efficient and fun front desk representative. There are a few other team members that I'd say are also responsible for training, but may be more like docents for lack of knowledge on my part, and those folks are Brianna, Marissa, and the guy I don't think I ever got your name (my bad!)--they're just genuine dog-loving, hard-working people. They have an online interface for making reservations, paying for services, uploading documents, and receiving photo/video report cards with comments that is pretty awesome, albeit has so many menu options it might seem complex. Everyone at Citizen K9 is fantastic, but I specifically want to highlight Brandy for her amazing work with our reactive dog. I adopted our dog in my early 20s when he was about 4-5 months old, and he was my first dog so I was clueless on how to properly raise a dog, let alone a high-energy herding dog who was extremely anxious. After he was attacked by another dog on a walk, he developed a severe reactivity to dogs and eventually, also to people.
