Chris' Canine Training

Chris was a great trainer for my puppy lab and I. My lab is full of energy, and I didn’t know how to contain him in public and with jumping on people. I did the board and train and he came back to me with manners. He’s great with dogs. You definitely have to keep up with his training though. He gave me a command sheet with explanations of these commands. If I have any questions I just text him and he typically responds right away or same day. He makes it look so easy. He was very good at explaining what he’s doing and why it works. I needed more training than my dog I think 😅

I was looking for a trainer locally that did frisbee training and I have to say that Chris is an excellent trainer although Lexi, my dog had to get polished up on some of her obedience he has shown me some of the basic mistakes I have made in training my dog now with that in mind, my dog is a lot more engaged with me and listens so much better I would refer Chris to anyone looking for such training once again, my highest regard for Chris and his training methods. I appreciate him so much.

Amazing dog trainer. We had Chris do a two week training with our 9 month old puppy. He is now has much better impulse control and is a delight to take on walks. He places so well too! Chris has such a great approach to training and really understands each pup. We are so impressed!

We took our unruly shelter pit bill mix to Chris for board and train and received a very different dog. Chris is amazing. His techniques are kind and firm and he seems to have this innate ability to understand and communicate with dogs in a way that few people can. He lives close to our home in Lees Summit, so that’s an extra bonus we appreciate. Harley loves him and we do too!

Chris is a very experienced dog trainer. I was a little nervous until I was able to hear him train and talk to my dog. He is very patient and keeps at it until he is satisfied. This is a comfortable home setting rather than a kennel.
