Chenango SPCA

We’ve had our boy Charlie for about four years now. Adopted from the Chenango SPCA and we are all very happy still all these years later. We can’t imagine our life without Charlie in it. We had a smooth experience with the friendly staff from start to finish. They introduced us to a few different dogs and really took the time to listen to what our lifestyle was like so we could find the perfect companion.

We adopted a sweet 2yr old cat name Daisy and she has been such a sweet girl. She is so playful and loving. I cannot begin to thank the team here for all they do. Easily the best shelter I've adopted from.

We got two kittens a year apart from here. The people are nice and knowledgeable. No adoption fees and they came neutered/spayed. It was clear they were taken care of with love while they were here.

I found a stray, and SPCA told me there was no infrastructure to reunite this potentially lost stray. What was most alarming, is the SPCA suggested letting the cat back out in the snow was a viable option. I am disgusted and saddened- this unacceptable nonprofit practice must change immediately.

I got Minnie 13 years ago. She was 3 years old and a Yorkie. This is a long life for a Yorkie. She was a good friend to my daughter and a loyal companion to me. We just lost 😔 her to old age. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful dog that loved everyone. This was her last picture. She was happy and disheveled after running around with the kids, at Otsenango Park. I occasionally babysit these children. She loved when we went to the park and had a picnic. She would steal 🤫😉 chicken nuggets (her favorite indulgence). Our hearts are breaking. We hope to find another like her. ❤️
