Chattahoochee Animal Clinic

We’ve been bringing our Aussie to Chattahoochee Animal Clinic for just over two years, since Bear was a puppy. Amazing service, excellent doctors, nurses, and assistants are all great. The groomer Brandy that works there is fantastic. Brandy does amazing work and takes our requests and tries to keep the breed standard and coat type in mind. We go shorter than standard, but brandy always makes Bear look so handsome.

My dog recently passed away, and the experience of putting him down at this clinic was one of the most distressing moments of my life. I did not arrive that day expecting to say goodbye, so the decision and process were already shocking and overwhelming. While my dog was actively dying, a vet tech walked into the room with an upbeat tone and said, “Let’s get him all checked out,” as if this were a routine visit rather than the end of his life. In that moment, I felt stunned, hurt, and completely unseen. It was profoundly tone-deaf and inappropriate for such a fragile situation. I have had to say goodbye to pets before, and while it is always heartbreaking, I have never experienced something so emotionally careless. This was our first visit at Chattahoochee Animal Clinic and Dr. Dawkins was great. She took care of Maggie's annual vaccinations but also provide options for her allergies and upcoming plane trip! She was very helpful and hope that what she chose for Maggie will work. The rest of the staff is very attentive and caring. As this is close to our house, I hope to continue Maggie's care here. It also was less expensive than our previous vet for an annual visit.

Chattahoochee Animal Clinic definitely deserves 5 stars! From the friendly and capable receptionists to the amazing technicians and both Dr Dawkins and Dr Smith, I can’t imagine going anywhere else with my kitties. They go above and beyond to make every visit easy and stress free.

I just got my puppy and I had gotten a referral from my neighbor to Chatahoochee Animal Clinic. My experience the past several visits have been wonderful. The techs answer so many questions and are so sweet with my baby. Dr. Dawkins is especially patient with my many questions and she never makes me feel rushed. She is so knowledgeable and kind. I’m so happy I got this amazing referral.
