Central Hospital For Animals - Herrin

I took my dog here one time I think we probably will not be back after I take him to our usual vet Lakeside because when I was there, they were they just really did not listen to my concerns about some of the stomach problems he had been having, and I was mentioning some other symptoms to them too, and he was actually diagnosed with a spinal condition later on which I’m not sure if they could’ve known about, but it is just kind of weird that they just didn’t listen to any of my concerns at all, and my dog ended up being you know having a disease Also had had they actually maybe listen to me and they would have just realized that a tiny dog like him shouldn’t be having two shots at once it totally messed him up. The vet actually asked me if I thought that he should have two shots when I lit

Everyone was very friendly especially Mellissa (I believe that is her name), We felt very comfortable leaving him here for his surgery (: I would definitely recommend to a friend!!

Ellen Mcnitt has been our vet since Waylon and Willie were 7 weeks old. She has always been a caring person with our boys. We also like how all the employees are kind to Willie and Waylon. They treat Willie and Waylon special when they trim their toenails and when they have to get their ears cleaned and when they get their teeth cleaned. They play with our dogs when they are doing these things. We appreciate all their hard work.

Dr Shannon Zaloz seen me on an emergency visit on Valentine's day this Saturday after 1 pm, she is very compassionate in my situation when my dog seized at 2:00 a.m. I didn't find a vet too treat her until I found Dr Shannon Zoloft. I really appreciate everything that Dr Zoloft did for me today you have no idea the relief of frustration and my dog is out of pain anymore. I had to euthanize my dog due to the severity of the seizures. Dr Shannon Zoloft left the Carbondale office drove to herrin to meet me there that's how compassionate she is. From the bottom of my hart thank you for everything you did for me today.

We have always taken our pets to central hospital for animals for over 15 years. I’ve never had an issue as of yet. Staff is extremely friendly & usually tries to work us in when I call with a emergency. Dr. Mcnitt is our main vet she has always been nothing but straight to the point and very professional never rude & we trust our pets with her judgement. She always gives us additional advice if she cannot come up with a solution and has been nothing but helpful with our cats. She was extremely kind when I had to euthanize my cat Boo 💔 so these are reasons we keep going back here for our pets care
