Cat Zen Cafe and Lounge

Would recommend this place to anyone. We came to STL to visit and check out as much as we could and this has to be the best place we’ve stopped at. Loved all of the kitties. The lady running the place at the time we went was super nice, very friendly and overall made the experience great. We will definitely make sure to visit this place every time we come this way.

I went with my family, my three kids and husband, for my birthday. My toddler loved those kitty toys with the poles. I couldn't sit still. There were several other people there too. The prettiest kitty was a resident there, no adoption. A bunch of people kept stopping by from Street traffic, they stopped in but they didn't stay to pay to play. We went on a Sunday afternoon.

Such a sweet way to get to know the personalities of the cats & see if there’s a match 💛. You can tell the cats are well loved. While we didn’t end up adopting from here, it has now become a regular visit for us & we root on all the kitties & love seeing pics of them going home with their new family ☺️.

This place was so much fun! What a great value to get to hang out with some awesome cats! When we went, it was nine dollars per person for a half hour which is plenty of time. It feels very relaxed and Zen inside which I guess goes with the name they had gentle music playing. The cats are all relaxed, and it was overall a very chill vibe. The cats were all very sweet and willing to be petted. The lots of toys and things to use to interact with the cats it all felt extremely clean and tidy, and you could tell they put a lot of effort into making the space, welcoming and accessible for visitors. The staff was very polite and insured we had a good time. They had a restroom available, which was clean and well stocked.could use a little more seating, especially comfy chairs. Discovered this place recently on social media and what a cute little spot in St. Charles! The staff were so nice and attentive and they seemed very happy to have people in the cafe. They were very knowledgeable about the place and each of the several cats in the room, all their personalities and names. What also made me happy was seeing them cleaning and ensuring that things were also tidy. One also was very prompt about checking people in and even topped off my cup of hot tea when the hot water ran out in the container. Drink selection is pretty simple and limited but I didn’t mind, it’s more of a self-serve station, but there is a good variety of teas to choose from.
