I rescued my dog from a shelter on a Friday and brought her into this vet on a Tuesday I was informed that she had heartworms and that treatment would be pricey. I was also informed that I needed to take extra precautions to insure she did not get pregnant as a pregnant dog with heartworms is extremely dangerous. I informed the vet that I had just rescued her and that i had no idea if she was pregnant as she was found on the streets with a male dog that also was not fixed. She told me that we would keep an eye out and gave me a steroid to help her breath and kill off the baby heartworms. I asked for an estimate for her care moving forward and was told it would be emailed to me. (It wasn't i had to call back 2 times just to get it sent a week later) when it was sent it was only an estimate

The staff was extremely friendly from the moment I walked in. I felt very invited and comfortable. I’m so glad that I was able to find a vet in my area that looks at exotic animals. I have leopard geckos and they made me feel comforted with the amount of knowledge they have.

I truly never leave reviews, but this experience left me sick to my stomach. We had to put down our family cat of 13 years. It was already one of the hardest decisions to make. The staff was kind during the appointment and gave us time with her, which I appreciated. What happened afterward completely ruined that. When I picked up my cat’s ashes, something felt off. Once I got to my car and went through everything, I realized her fur was missing. I was clearly told we would receive her ashes, a paw print, and a clipping of her fur. That was the only thing I asked for. I went back inside and asked about it. After waiting while they tried to figure it out, I was told they were busy that day and forgot to clip her fur. They were very nice and explained exactly what my kitty needed and were thorough about the after care too!!

Switched to Goldsboro veterinary hospital because I wasn't happy with Landmark. 1000x better! They are very attentive to my needs as I'm a disabled veteran and my service dog, Otto, needed a minor surgical procedure. It was like going to a hospital for humans! The care was the best I've ever experienced. They are a little pricey but you get what you pay for. If you want your pet treated like a member of the family and not like a yard dog like some vets who could care less, I highly recommend Goldsboro veterinary hospital. Dr. Renee Fahrenholz and her entire team are truly angels and made me feel extremely comfortable and safe.
