We just moved here from South Carolina with our three very big dogs. It's easier for me to just get their vet care done all at one time, so when I got inside, I figured the staff would be somewhat frustrated I would be in the waiting room with them. But not only were they not frustrated, but some of the staff came out to love on my babies. The waiting room is really well laid out. The doctor was awesome. They gave each dog very individualized attention, AND spent lots of time talking to me about each dogs care plan, considering they used different types of meds than what my former vet used. They even told me how (who to contact) to update their chips. We wouldn't consider going anywhere else! Dr Manuel didn’t tell me the side effects/concerns of getting distemper shot until AFTER I was checking out to pay. Saying if the cat vomits or has diarrhea to take him to the ER. Why would she even give him this shot if I took him in for digestive issues?? Then when I made the appointment for the booster for 530pm, the receptionist offered me (office closes at 6 and I work until 5) she made a sour face and said can’t I come in earlier?

My cat was extremely sick and after calling multiple vets - was able to get her a same day visit. Dr Mathew was very compassionate and thorough and provided a path to get my pet well. ALL of the office staff were wonderful and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience - especially for a first visit. My own vet couldn’t even see her. I feel truly blessed to have found you and experience your animal care. Thank you so much.

Dr. Stake is an unbelievable vet!! I trust him 1000% with my dachshund, Izzy, and my cat, Kotyk. We have been going here over 10 years and he has cared for many pets for us. Best vet practice I’ve ever used, last one I will ever use! Can’t speak highly enough of the level of care, compassion, and support they have provided to us over the years.

Have used this vet for 25 years since moving here from Philadelphia. First 2 vets we saw in Harrisburg were not so good. Knew after first visit to CAAMC that we would never go anywhere else. Dr. Stake and Dr. Keim are particularly recommended! Have never had a tech that wasn't all around wonderful, and the other staff is friendly and efficient. Yes, sometimes have to wait past my appt time, but since they never rush me through an appt, especially when I have questions, assume they do the same for others, which can easily skew the schedule. See some folks on here complaining about prices. I've always found my charges to be reasonable, and also believe that you get what you pay for. So may be cheaper vets, but bet they don't provide the same top notch care CAAMC does! Pics show some of ou
