Canyon Small Animal Hospital

We recently visited Canyon Small Animal Hospital for our new puppy (a Pomeranian), and we had such a great experience. They’re conveniently located less than 10 minutes from our home, which is a huge plus. The staff was friendly and efficient, and we were in and out for our appointment. They made our pup an adorable tag with her vaccine information on it, which was such a thoughtful touch. The pricing was very affordable in my opinion, and our puppy did great with her vaccines. Everything went smoothly, and the vet took time to talk with us about future care and what to expect during her first year. I’m so happy we found a wonderful vet so close to home and feel confident bringing our puppy back here for her ongoing care. Highly recommend!

The team at canyon small animal is always so welcoming even when they are having a tough day. I spend a lot of money here because I have a lot of animals but they try to keep the prices reasonable and help out when they can when people rescue animals. I appreciate that they love what they do and it shows

We have been taking our Golden Retriever to Canyon Small Animal for the past 8 years. A few years ago he developed epilepsy and they have helped manage it with meds, nearly stopping seizures completely. Additionally, he had a small soft tissue sarcoma on a leg that they were able to surgically remove a couple of years ago, with no further issue. Our dog is terrified of the vet and they have helped manage his anxiety at the vet, and have been patient and kind when working with him. Everyone we have worked with, from the vets, vet techs, etc. have been kind and compassionate, and patient. The people who work here care about animals, and it shows. They're definitely in the right line of work!

We love Canyon Small animal hospital. They have always done a great job caring for our dogs. They are reasonable with the expense of the care provided.. We travel all the way from Boise to Caldwell because the quality care we receive. A lot of vets now days use your emotions to make more money. This vet is very good at helping your pets, without wrecking your account or making you feel guilty if something is not in your budget. We will continue to make the drive for their level of care. We love our Vet!

Dr Erin and team are kind, patient and compassionate. Our hound is kind of high strung sometimes and they work very well with him to calm him down and get his care done kindly. They listen to concerns as well.
