I cannot say enough about this place. Mark Ratcliff is absolutely incredible. I have seen the other vet once. He was really good too. I know that Dr. Ratcliff would not have him in there is he wasn't good. He diagnosed Biggin with diabetes and Cushing's Disease. When I took her in I was sure that I was losing her. He looked me straight in the eyes and said, "I don't like this" when he saw her. He ran tests and found the issue. He nursed her back to health and she is enjoying life again. Their shipment of Insulin did not make it there for Biggin. They spent 30 minutes or more calling around until they found a vet where I could buy a vial. He even offered to go get it! I always appreciate the people who work at Cannonsburg Companion Animal Care who are a very helpful and kind. They take great care of my little dog. They will examine her at the table and do little procedures there as well, although not all procedures. They listen, it's a relaxed environment, and I get a great feeling there. Finally, I've always felt the decisions were about what's best for my little girl, and not about how much money they can make.

I was totally impressed the first time I came with my 8 weeks old ShihTzu. The cleanliness of the reception and treatment areas. The friendly and professional staff The vets reaction when he saw my 2 lb ball of fur, he took time to hold and pet her. You could see his love for his patients. We take our furbaby there for all of her veterinary needs, as well as grooming, baths, nail trimming..

Would highly recommend! Everyone, from the front end staff to the Veterinarians, are great! The “dogtors” see our 4 pups. One of my pups has some health issues and they always get her right away when she has a flare up. Had a GREAT vet in SC and was worried it would be hard to find another great vet again but we got so lucky to find Companion!
