Canine Country Academy - Dog Training and Behavior Modification

Paula and her amazing crew of dog trainers are too notch! They're very helpful, informative, and supportive! My dog and I are apart of the walking league which is great exercise for us both along with socialization. We also are attending their agility classes which are downright fun! Beware! Dog sports are addictive and they've got the tools to get you hooked!

Our experience with Canine Country Academy probably started over a year ago. I was looking for a training facility for my boy Yoshi, and stumbled upon their Facebook page while doing research. I was very impressed with their commitment to educating owners as well as their puppies plus an expanded list of offered classes. When they opened up their day class program, I jumped on the chance to send Yoshi. We have been very fortunate to have found Canine Country Academy. Yoshi has flourished and grown in such a positive setting. It was a huge shift for him to be away from home to a new place. Yesterday we had a meeting with Amy for a puppy evaluation. She was easy to talk to, knowledgeable and has a friendly personality. We honestly appreciate the fact that the pups are being screened first before attending a training class. It’s very important that all pups have a good and safe personality.

I was at a class to learn about Man Trailing yesterday. Our instructor was great. She provided description, examples and gave us exercises throughout the class. As the final exercise we experienced an actual Man Trailing course with our dogs which was exciting for me and my dog.

My dog Luna is incredibly smart, but she has been a bit of a challenge lately, especially as I have a schedule change for work. We were able to arrange a private lesson to get a plan for how to help her and keep our sanity at the same time! Rachel Emery was amazing! She really met all of us where we are. She was able to come up with a variety of tools to use to help Luna with her need for mental stimulation and for the humans in the house not to go bonkers at night! Totally recommend them for all your needs... especially if you are blessed with a dog who might just be smarter than you are!
