Canine Connection

My first experience with Canine Connection was through their Puppy Kindergarten course and the Puppy Social for our Golden Retriever (Shadow) with Dr. Sarah. We had so much fun and our puppy learned essential skills (sit, stay, down, heel, recall), as well as how to socialize politely with other dogs. Because of our wonderful experience, we enrolled in “Acing Adolescence" with trainer Nancy to fine tune Shadow’s leash manners and recall as she started reaching the teenage phase. These courses have immensely helped her become a good canine citizen in our community, because they have taught me how to be a good handler and dog owner. I just got a young adult German shepherd mix from the tehama animal shelter and needed some structured guidance for him. We attended Canine Connection's life skills and manners class. We're having a fantastic time learning with positive training and rewards. Both my dog and I are enjoying the experience of communicating more effectively with each other.

Outstanding training classes! My 2 littermate German Shepherds, now 14 months old, have literally grown up with talented trainer, Sarah Richardson. I quickly felt under qualified trying to manage these sweet but young guys and needed help. Sarah was a lifesaver! She stepped in immediately, evaluated everything from visiting my home to spending personal time with them and finally providing a plan of group training classes with them separately to educate me as a more knowledgeable owner at home. I will forever be grateful for her experience and kindness during my struggle. What a great resource we have in Sarah and her very talented staff at Canine Connection.

I attended Puppy Social hour and found this experience to be really impressive. I rarely write reviews, but in this case I'm very compelled to do so. The class itself was structured, educational and so fun for the pups, but the most amazing part was the staff. They all were personable, professional, knowledgeable and you can really tell they love what they do. They have a caring and patient approach and have a clear passion to canine care. Would recommend this facility for all levels of training/care.
