Canfield Vet, Dog and Cat Hospital

All the vets and office staff are so wonderful and kind. They care very much for their clients and their fur babies. They find an appointment when there is an urgent need and that means so much when your pet is not feeling well. I recommend them whenever I can!

We have been using Canfield Vet for about 30 years and have been extremely happy with the way our dogs have been cared for. Our one dog had a very large growth on his paw and Dr Brooker very skillfully removed it without damaging any of his toes. When our other dog was critically ill they found us an appointment right away and were very caring and compassionate to our dog and to us. Those are just two examples of the excellent care we have received at Canfield.

We have been going to Canfield Vet for 10 years with our beloved Goldendoodle, Henry. Everyone there is kind, patient, knowledgeable and incredibly professional. At a recent well visit, he was diagnosed with cancer. He quickly declined and in 2 weeks time, we made the heartwrenching decision to peacefully euthanize him. Dr. Zink was educational while sharing her compassionate heart throughout the process. The Office Staff & the Vet Techs were all gentle and nurturing. As difficult as this process was emotionally for our family, everyone at Canfield Vet eased the process educationally & professionally talking with us sympathetically in person and over the phone. When we get a new puppy, we will definitely be going back to Canfield Vet : )

As always, the minute my dog and I entered the office we both felt welcomed and appreciated. The visit with the vet was timely, thorough, and caring. I left knowing that my dog’s annual physical covered all of his health needs. The Canfield Vet Hospital has proven time and again that they are worthy of my trust.

Canfield Vet is a warm and welcoming practice. Located on a pretty lot near Mendon Ponds Park, the staff are friendly and helpful. The doctors take plenty of time with you on your visits and genuinely care about your pet. My dog absolutely loves going to the vet because of all of the attention and treats he gets!
