Camino Veterinary Hospital truly went above and beyond for my sweet (very large!) dog, Sancho. From start to finish, the level of care, communication, and compassion we received was exceptional. Dr. Bates and Dr. Habekost were absolutely amazing—both checked in consistently and personally for a solid week after his surgery, which meant more to our family than I can express. Knowing they were closely monitoring his recovery gave us so much peace of mind. The entire staff was incredible—so kind, patient, and genuinely loving toward Sancho. It was clear that he wasn’t just another patient to them; he was treated like family. We felt supported every step of the way, and Sancho was clearly in the best hands possible. Took my pitbull Rocco in to be seen. And this has been the absolute best experience I’ve had. Rocco would never harm anyone, but gets a little scared of the vet. The ladies handled it so professional and weren’t afraid to handle my big guy. My overall experience was a 12/10 and the bill was more than fair. Huge thank you to Star (vet tech) and Dr. Bates. Star was super sweet asking all the necessary questions of what’s going on with Rocco. She wasn’t afraid to take his temperature and was very professional. Please give her a raise. Dr. Bates is probably my favorite vet I’ve seen so far. Rocco was a bit nervous when she came in and was trying so hard not to be touched. Dr. Bates wasn’t scared at all. Dr. Habekost and her staff are amazing. If you’re looking for a veterinarian, you need to go here! I moved 45 minutes away and I will continue to make the drive, because it is worth it! She truly cares.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Habekost and her team. I have a very difficult dog who absolutely dreads vet visits, which always makes me anxious heading into appointments. But the entire team is incredibly patient, not just with my pup, but with me too. They handle her with such care and compassion, never rushing or forcing anything. I always leave feeling reassured and supported. Dr. Habekost is knowledgeable, kind, and clearly cares about her patients. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet who truly goes above and beyond.

Other doctor offices take note! This place is amazing. Unfortunately had to take my 20 year old pitbull in and down. The staff here did not make me wait in a waiting room rather had a blanket laid out already and escorted me right in without any explanation or identification. The nurses and doctors were so respectful to my family and others in the office. I wish that I was treated like this when going to a human doctor. They showed genuine love for animals and what they do. Handled efficiently and affordable. Thank you guys so much for making such a painful experience quit calming and peaceful, reassuring us of the right decisions to make. RIP Bruno!
