I don't know why this place doesn't have 6.5 stars! Very good place , friendly, professional staff and doctors. Had an emergency with our Chihuahua during her delivery of her first litter and I couldn't have taken her to better care anywhere in this town . At least in our eyes. Thank You very much. Ok this is the worst place ever.... I board my dog here for 3 nights and 4 days for the first time. My dog came back with fleas (keep in my mind my dog never had fleas). So, I called the place and a woman told me a dog who was previously boarded had fleas and they clean the Kennel. So, they told me to bring my dog back because they can get rid of the fleas at no charge, which I did . Next, thing you know the vet called me and left a message and said my dog came with fleas...I tried to call him back but could not get in touch with him to tell him he is a lie, and that they need to get their story straight. If my dog had fleas when he came in (which I know is not true) they would have told me that after they check him to make sure he was ok. Also, when I went to pick up my dog. I waited for

Dr. Calahan and the staff at South Shreveport Animal Hospital were very helpful and profressional. Excellent service and warm and friendly customer service. I have a pitt bull mix and they treated my dog with love and compassion. I would highly recommend the South Shreveport Animal Hospital to anyone.

She has taken care of animals for years. We are blessed to have a great vet like her. She truly cares about the animals that are in her care.
