C J's Dog Training

I have taken my dog to CJ‘s dog training for three classes. I have been happy with them all. She is very very knowledgeable and has the room set up well with space for each dog. More importantly she had an appropriate number of dogs so there is an appropriate amount of space between the dogs so there was not much distraction between them. She brings her dog and models the appropriate behavior and then lets each owner and dog practice one at a time. I found this to be way better than other classes where the trainer would say what to do and then have everybody get up and do it at the same time. That was too much for my dog that is a young pup. She also has an assistant to help. If someone is having a difficult time with their dog they get special one on one treatment. She’s affordable, knows

It's wonderful to be able to train my puppy in person, with other dogs around. The trainer has a wealth of knowledge and keeps up with new information, teaching us how to train with positive reinforcement. We enjoyed the Puppy Kindergarten class so much that we signed up for Basic Obedience next!

I got my mini Labradoodle in April 2020, right during the pandemic. I wanted to make sure he got proper training, even though dog trainers weren’t able to hold in person classes. CJ agreed to have weekly phone calls to get my puppy off to a good start. She was flexible and had such great advice. My pup attended Kindergarten and the first level of training…all very helpful. I got compliments at the vet recently about how his good manners. He’s now 1 1/2 years old and does so well…we practice every day. I can’t thank CJ enough…I only wish my work schedule was more flexible to get him into the next level of obedience training. I highly recommend CJ and her staff!

Great dog trainer. Before class started our dog was unruly and hyper and inattentive. CJ taught us how to work with him in order to focus him and his behavioral issues. She also had a lot of on hands work in class and offers outside of class help.
