This is the first time I boarded my cat Indie, for a short trip 3 days. Lori and Chayton were warm and welcoming And the kennels were excellent. Less than 10 minutes after leaving my princess I got a text video message with Chayton loving on her, her purring. They texted me updates and called me with the concern when she had a sneezing episode. I just picked her up an hour ago she is healthy happy smells good looks good and purring in my arms.

Boarded my dog 8/17–8/18/2025 while hiking Black Canyon. Pros: They sent several updates saying Kira was doing well, getting walks, and seemed comfortable. Concerns from my visit: • Vaccine verification: During booking I offered to send Kira’s vaccination records and was told they weren’t necessary. No records were requested at drop-off or pickup. Because boarding facilities typically verify current vaccines, I reported this to the Colorado Dept. of Agriculture (PACFA) for review. • Timing/fees: Their initial text said pickup would be “after 2:30 pm” with an exact time to be set later. At drop-off, I wrote “14:30–15:00” (2:30–3:00 pm) on their business card in front of the owner, who commented on my “military time”—so I believed a pickup window was understood and confirmed both verbally

I left my 2 dogs with them as I went wine tasting in area and it was so great! Lori was responsive and communicative as we planned for the stay and when I dropped the off, I felt reassured my 2 pups would be cared for and they were. When I picked the up, they were happy and content. I will definitely use them again, and I definitely recommend them.

I was nervous about leaving my cat Luna in a kennel for 2 weeks... but I didn't need to be! Lori and the whole gang clearly took great care of her. They texted me check-ins and were able to work with Luna's slightly complicated diet. On the other side, Luna is as chill as could be, so she clearly had a fine time. Very grateful to know that Lori is nearby whenever I need to take a trip!

Lori and her family at C bar K Pet boarding took great care of my dog when we had to be out of town for 10 days. I always try to have friends or family care for my dog because of bad experiences at kennels where my dog gets stressed and loses weight. What a relief it was to come back and find my dog in good spirits. I know they gave her the attention and all of the walks that she needed. Thank you Lori and your family for taking such great care of our dog. We certainly will bring her back!
