Susan Raymond is an excellent local vet. My dog was in pain on Sunday, I called her and left a message thinking I would get a call back on Monday and she called me back within 15 minutes. She walked me through what to do and gave me a peace of mind. Great empathy.

She is very nice & informative. I have a new puppy & of course some worries. She eased my mind & gave honest opinions instead of sugar coating. Thank you Dr. Susan!

During our first visit, she literally shouted at me for not recognizing the visual signs of a certain mouth ailment in my dog, which her tone of voice made sound quite serious -- then later stated that she did not know the name of the ailment -- "but they talk about cancer" -- and sold me a $16 bottle of dog mouth-cleanser for it. She spent a lot of the brief exam time specifically criticizing other local veterinarians, and then recommended a blood test for $200 which turned out to be unnecessary. I showed the vet the supplement I had been giving my dog and she looked at it and said, "This isn't good -- look, the first ingredient is glycerine, which is sugar." Clean and friendly place. Lovely vet and her assistant. I felt taken care of and comfortable, so did my pup. I don't use vets regularly, though when I do we will come back here. Had alot of good information to take away. Thank you
