Burlington County Animal Alliance (BCAAofNJ)

We had a great experience adopting with BCAA of NJ. George is the perfect addition to our family and gets along great with our other dog, Maggie! I appreciate being able to meet the family that fostered him to learn more about him before adopting.

I need to be clear, I didn’t end up adopting an animal from this organization. Recently, we lost our beloved dog, and after a period of grieving, my family decided to adopt once again. We came across this shelter and saw a dog that we instantly fell in love with just from the picture. Sometimes it’s not about anything more than a feeling and a connection. We saw this dog and my children instantly became excited as did my wife and myself. We immediately put an application in. After registering with the site we saw that it was seen the same day. Four days went by and we didn’t hear from anyone so I sent an email inquiring about the status of our application for adoption. I received a reply that stated the dog was to have a visit from another family and if it didn’t work out, they will contac

Our family had a wonderful experience adopting our dog with BCAA. We were impressed with the process and are blown away with how perfect of a fit the dog is for our family I'm pretty sure when I submitted an application for one of the dogs in their care, it stated that they may not contact you if they don't think you're the absolute best fit. I understand why other reviewers are upset about not being contacted after applying for a dog but everyone in the organization is a volunteer and couldn't possibly respond to every application. We will definitely adopt our next dog from BCAA!

I wanted to adopt a puppy that I thought was super cute. Unfortunately I never heard back about my application so I followed them on Facebook and found out they were having a puppy meet up. I decided to go and although I didn't end up with the puppy I originally wanted, I did get another cutie puppy named chase!

A+++ for BCAAofNJ with special thanks to the Amazing SUE !! --- BCAAofNJ was quick with the process, the communication was the speed of light, I had several ways to communicate AND they went above and beyond to help us adopt the most special dog in the world (to us). This was such a different and amazing experience than the adoption process at a different organization with our 1st pup that it will be hard to forget and I feel the need to share with everyone. I think others that had a different experience here may in fact be the ones that caused their own problems or maybe it's a "one off". All I can say is that it SEEMS like OTHER shelters in our experience don't overly care about the frustration of a tedious adoption process and are not in a rush to adopt their pups and BCCAAofNJ is on
