Dr. Villano is exceptional, he took his time examining and explaining the next steps and gave me peace of mind knowing our beloved pet was in such great hands. His staff is wonderful too, both on the phone and in person. Our pup made instant friends with Erica. I’m so grateful to my friend for this recommendation, it was a very positive experience!

Everyone here is utterly compassionate and caring. They get my dogs' psychologies and approach them accordingly - taking extra time with my skittish pup and offering lots of treats to my food-motivated one. Dr. Krantz is wonderful - totally in tune with my animals and always willing to take the time to follow-up with phone calls and referrals when needed. I'm very grateful for the care we receive here.

We have been taking our two cats (male and a feral female) here for 5-6 years. There are routinely issues. There is a separate 1-star review regarding our female cat’s recent appalling experience at Buena Vet where they, amongst a litany of other things, sedated her and did none of the things they were supposed to do. Prescriptions are a problem all the time. Our male cat with terminal gastric lymphoma needed steroids and nausea meds at the end of his life for comfort. He ran out of his steroid. Despite being a patient for years and on his deathbed, they wouldn't give a refill because “it is a different vet that has not seen him before.” Laughable because I don't think he had ever seen any vet there more than twice there. I have a younger adult cat only eight. As anyone who's looking for a vet knows, your pet is family and losing them is just as painful. I love my cat and would do anything to make her feel better. The doctor, nurses and rest of staff did an amazing job taking care of Isabelle. They made me as comfortable as possible as I waited to find out about my kitty. They worked with me on prices and treatment plans. They carefully went over the results and then checked back in a few days later. They really cared. My cat is a scratcher and she made them work very hard, but they were very professional and made her as comfortable as possible. The office was very clean, and set up in a way to keep my kitty as calm as possible.
