My puppy, Annie, was 7 months old when we started our training for Annie to become a medical service dog due to the special medical needs of the family member. Sybl has provided us with dog training to our now 2-year old tarrier mix, an extremely active breed, since June of 2021, learning basic commands such as sit, place, leave it, learning how to use a pinch collar on walks, using the crate, and most recently, how to behave in our new home with our 1-year old daughter. We reached out to Sybl to help us get started with obedience training and leash walking for our 4-month-old Hovawart, Cova. As first-time dog owners, we were overwhelmed in the initial weeks with Cova, struggling to understand his behavior, mannerisms, and what training methods would work best for him. And Sybl was great in helping us get better at all of them. She is very knowledgeable and taught us several ways how to reach and understand Cova.
