This is a small rescue located in Petsmart where loving volunteers help care for cats and get them adopted. New cats and kittens are rescued regularly. Stop by the store to check out all of the adorable cats! I recommend you submit a pre-screen if you are interested in adopting in the future.

I recently went through the pre-screening process with this Broken Tail Rescue and initially ran into a few bumps that left me feeling discouraged. After sharing my concerns with the team, I was genuinely impressed by how quickly and thoughtfully they responded. Sara reached out with a detailed and compassionate follow-up, clarified their policies, acknowledged where information could be communicated more clearly, and even offered a path forward for adoption. It’s clear that this organization is made up of staff and volunteers who truly care — not only about the animals, but also about the people eager to give them loving homes. Their willingness to listen, take feedback to heart, and make improvements speaks volumes about their commitment to both transparency and community trust. While

Adopted Tiger from Broken Tail Rescue and he is a great cat. They were throughout and tried to find the best fit for our family. Thanks! Edit - it's been almost a year and Tiger has very much made himself at home and a member of the family. He loves windows and can be seen running to each one just to look through them!

Seems like a good organization, with one flaw, perhaps because they are aligned with PetSmart. My information was immediately sold, and although I inquired about an animal that ended up being adopted before I could meet them, I now have spam calls, emails, and text messages coming in everyday about two weeks later. I regret filling out their form.

We got our beloved Kitty Bob as a 1-lb Tuxedo kitten. Our other cat was grieving the untimely loss of her brother, and Kitty Bob filled a void for all of us. The two cats are now best friends, and he is an outgoing, noisy, affectionate delight.
