Broadway Veterinary Hospital

I’ve been bringing my puppy to this vet hospital for a few months now, and I highly recommend it. Dr. Hartz and her staff truly care about the animals, which gives me so much peace of mind during every visit. We had a big health scare with my puppy a while ago, and they helped me figure things out and guided me through every step of the way. They’re always transparent about what they’re doing and why, and I really appreciate how patiently they answer all my questions. I feel confident knowing they have mine and my puppy’s best interests at heart.

Our family just adores Dr. Meade and Broadway Vet. We’ve been going here since we moved to Durham 4.5 years ago and wouldn’t trust anyone else. We have five glorious sweet kitties and have had our fair share of medical challenges! Broadway Vet has always been there for us through it all… you can really tell that everyone there sincerely cares. Vet appointments used to give me anxiety but it’s eased since working with Dr. Meade and staff. We also met Dr. Hartz over the weekend for our new former feral now indoor kitty — Mia Goth — for her first vet visit ever! She was wonderful and very detailed in explaining some options for us to move forward with her care. Very compassionate, knowledgeable, and warm. We are so thankful for Dr. Hartz! My dog's eye was inexplicably swollen shut and as an anxious pet owner I panic called Broadway Veterinary to see if they could get her in ASAP. I am so grateful that Dr. Hartz was able to see us urgently (same day!) and she took such good care of my girl. She figured out what had happened and her treatment plan started working right away. Within a week everything was back to normal! Everyone that helped us was helpful, caring, and professional. We definitely recommend Broadway Veterinary and Dr. Hartz!

I've been going to Broadway Vet Hospital for many years - we love Dr. Meade, and now we love Dr. Hartz. We are always treated with friendly, high quality care. I also feel heard when discussing my wishes for my pet's care which is very important to me. I was disheartened to read a couple of negative reviews - I can only imagine the people who left them must have felt extreme fear or worry for their pet at the time which may have made it a difficult visit for all involved. My experience with BVH is that they take their job seriously and have the pet's best interest in the forefront. Vet care costs have increased everywhere which has made it tough on pet owners but at least I know I get exceptional quality care at BVH for the cost.

Broadway vet has the friendliest team of folks who work very intentionally to create a calming, low stress vet environment for your babies. It’s since day one been the best place for my four baby dogs to get care in Durham, hands down. I’ve always felt well informed by the staff, not taken advantage of financially, and very cared for as a pawrent. I can’t recommend Broadway enough if you’re looking for a place for your babies to be well taken care of in a calming, friendly environment and where you don’t have to spend your whole paycheck for vet care.
