Juan and his team did nothing short of a miracle with our border collie, Boone. When we brought him in, Boone was bursting with energy, smart, eager, and totally wild. We loved him, but we struggled to channel that energy in a way that worked for our lifestyle. After training with Juan, Boone came back a completely transformed dog, not in spirit, but in partnership. He’s still the same happy, high-drive pup, but now he looks to us for direction, responds to cues with focus and clarity, and thrives in a structured, communicative relationship that we never knew was possible. Thanks to the foundation Juan helped us build, we now have the freedom to trust Boone off-leash in new environments, something that felt unimaginable just a few months ago. Whether it’s trail running, biking, or explori

Our two dogs (8 and 3 yrs old) recently completed the board and train program with Dogability. Juan took excellent care of them, shared updates along the way, and really helped us understand our dogs’ behavior. They’re totally transformed, and we feel like we are educated to be able to continue their training. They didn’t learn fancy tricks - they learned how to be companions. They know the important commands really well: place, stay, here, loose leash walking and off leash manners. I think the Dogability program is very unique and successful compared to other board & train programs I researched. We are very grateful our dogs got to work with Juan!

Whether you have a new puppy or a stubborn dog, this is the place to go. The owner takes a thoughtful balanced approach to training that goes beyond just teaching command, it’s about building a clear fair system your dog understands. In a few weeks, I learned how to handle my energetic dog with confidence. The results were amazing, well trained dog and a stronger bond built on trust. Professional, passionate, and truly doing it for the right reasons.

Our wild child dog Duck has been home from his time with Dogability for 2+ weeks, and the results are AMAZING. We were super nervous about sending him away for training, but after 3+ years of trying with other trainers on our own, behaviorist visits, meds, etc., we were at our wit's end with Duck's behavior (growling/lunging at our toddler, chasing the cat, super excitable, never listening, jumping repeatedly on visitors, etc etc etc). I even asked Juan if they've ever sent a dog home from training because they couldn't work with them. Juan assured me they could and would be able to both handle and care for Duck, and of course he was right. Now, Duck is an absolute joy to be with now. He is still his wiggly, happy, loving self. Samantha and Juan taught him to be BORED! He's able to hang

My 2 year old Dutch Shepherd completed the 6 week board and train program with Dogability Dog Training last summer, graduating in August 2019. Now, more than 6 months later I can truly still say that this is the best investment that I ever made for me and my pup. Prior to the training my dog was extremely people aggressive, he would lunge and bark at every person he saw. It was to the point where we could no longer go in public and we couldn't even go on walks for fear that we would come across other people. Dutch Shepherds are a high energy breed and they are ready to learn. My dog can learn behavior commands and tricks easily. However, it didn't matter how much I tried, I was unable to teach my dog to stop barking and lunging at strangers. I was also unable to teach my dog a formal heel,
