I was referred to BAH by my son who had reported a very positive experience with taking his own dog there. When my maltipoo needed her ears cleaned I took her to BAH and we saw Dr. Shannon. The office is older and definitely showing its age, but it was clean as could be and actually smelled pleasant. The office staff was friendly and laid back. Dr. Shannon had a very calming presence and was so gentle and sweet with my very nervous pup. They took excellent care of her, addressing all of my concerns and answered all of my questions. She explained everything thoroughly and I left feeling that I knew how to proceed with her care at home. I was surprised at how reasonable the charges were, though the receptionist verbally listed all the services that had been rendered, so I knew it was correct

Losing my best friend Gunner has been the most painful experience of my life! Everyone at the clinic was kind and respectful. Dr. M was completely transparent with me the whole time and I’m glad we acted when we did before he got worse. So thankful you all exist and I will continue to bring my two other dogs here. Thank you for all of your help through this devastating time. Gunner had a long life and was very loved! I will feel him with me forever!

I honestly would not recommend Broadway Animal Hospital if your dog has dental issues. Here’s my experience: I took my senior dog there a few months ago because he appeared to have a tooth infection, with a small swollen area under his eye. The vet confirmed he had a tooth infection. I was expecting them to pull the infected tooth, but instead, I ended up spending $400 just for a teeth cleaning. I didn’t bring him in for a cleaning—I brought him in to treat the infection and prevent it from spreading. While his teeth were nicely cleaned, the infected tooth was not addressed. The vet told me it was a “minor” tooth infection, gave him antibiotics while he was there, and gave me a prescription to continue at home. Dr. Shannon Wesche and her staff are kind, knowledgeable, and on the ball (of string)! I have a classic scaredy cat who is scared of everyone, except her dad and I. She not only let Dr. Shannon pet her, but also look in her ears and examine her! You have no idea what a big deal this is for us. Thank you so much, all of you, for our quick harmless visit. They are amazing! The prices are affordable and they took care of my little guy. So happy he is going to be doing better now.
