Brevard Humane Society Merritt Island Adoption Center

The staff here is caring and fantastic with the animals brought here. I was amazed that the cats/kittens were in one room, socialized with each other, and free range to do what they do. This made it possible to sit, stand, or play with any and all of them in one room.

My daughter has wanted a cat for awhile and after looking through the pictures online we decided to go here for a black cat named Simon. Everything was very clean and looked nice for the cats. They had a big room with lots of cat towers and toys and all the cats seemed happy. Staff was super helpful and let us play with the cats to feel them out before adopting. They were knowledgeable on the cats they had and could tell us which ones were skiddish or didn’t like being held. We ended up with Simon and are happy we found him here.

Had quite a few cats and kittens!!! I will be back I just wanted to see how it was and how the cats were. It was a nice experience.

Had a fantastic experience I adopted our wonderful kitten from them. You could really tell the staff cared for the animals and it was a super easy process to adopt. I’m glad I was able to find the perfect pet for us and highly recommend to anyone interested in adopting

A little stringent about their cats. But otherwise very nice and easy.
