My sister and I found this poor emaciated momma and her kittens outside. Without the intervention and support of BCC and the fosters who took them all in, they may not have survived very long outside. Now momma and her kittens are safe and in loving homes. Words cannot express our gratitude ❤️

I not only have had the pleasure of adopting from BCC, but also have recently started to foster for them. Katie, Katherine, and Kelsey have been so incredible helpful and kind. They clearly spend a lot of time looking into the best possible adopters for the cats in their care. They have so much love and compassion for the cats and are such amazing resources to those of us who foster. Their application process may seem lengthy to some, but it’s a good and fair system. I can say for certain that the fosters I’ve cared for have gone to incredibly loving and well vetted families.

BCC could not have been more welcoming or helpful. They do a wonderful job finding good homes for all these little souls, even working with other cat rescues helping each other to foster cats waiting for adoption and finding homes for them too. Kelsey was so kind and accommodating in arranging for us to meet our little Nico. We couldn't be happier with our experience and are so happy to have found people who do such good work connecting people and cats to make families.

Especially if you are looking to become a first time cat owner, I think Branford Compassion Club is a wonderful place to rescue from. Not only do they take very thorough and heartfelt care of their cats, but the support they give you in the adoption process is phenomenal. Bugsy is my first cat and I was kind of nervous about navigating this new world with new responsibilities, but I was blown away by how much support BCC offered. I was paired with an adoption agent who helped select cats for me to look at based on what I was looking for, and she also answered my questions and provided me with a bunch of resources and recommendations before adopting. When I brought Bugsy home, they sent him home with his bedding and scratcher so he could have his scent with him, and a whole bunch of his toy

The crew at BCC are the best. They truly care about every cat and their forever home. We adopted Franklyn 2 years ago and he is the happiest, sweetest, and healthiest cat 🐈‍⬛ ever! We are grateful for all of the volunteers who help keep this shelter safe.
