Bows and Bones Pet Grooming

I’ve taken my puppy here 3x and for the most part I have had good experiences. I have been pleased with how my golden doodle was groomed. The very first visit was the BEST! I wish I could remember the woman who groomed him. She did a fantastic job and my puppy clearly felt comfortable with her because the next two visits I was changed a handling fee because he was “feisty”. I didn’t like that I wasn’t informed of the handling fee when they called to ask questions about what I wanted, but when he picked him up. I was also charged another fee my last visit and it was not communicated to as to what the fee was for. Maybe I can find out who cut him his first visit and request that person.

I have Miss Selena as my doggie groomer and she is fantastic! My last groomer asked for prescribed meds for my baby to keep him calmer which made me a tad uncomfortable and Selena was willing to work with me and my dog. She’s so kind and sweet and absolutely amazing at what she does. This last time I left after a grooming appointment I had people stopping in vehicles to tell me how cute and well-groomed my pup was!! Highly recommend☺️

I take my two mini golden doodles and my Maltese to Bows and Bones for their grooming. They always look so adorable and smell so nice. I highly recommend.

Think twice before booking! This place is severely understaffed and won’t hesitate to cancel your appointment at the last minute without any apology. They initially told me it was a “daily emergency,” but later the manager admitted several staff had called out—clearly a lie. After reading more reviews, I realized this has happened to many others. On top of that, they charge a $45 cancellation fee if you miss the appointment. Save yourself the frustration and support professionals who actually value their clients.

Best groomer ever - I’ve had my puppy for just over a year and after many different groomers Bows and Bones Midlothian is by far the best. They groomed my dog according to his breed type and I can tell they used scissors not clippers. They were precise with his cut and the wait time is acceptable. I am very pleased with this facility and his groomer.
