Bowie Towne Veterinary Hospital

Our little 12.5 year old chihuahua, Craigie/Pico (Foster family had named him Pico, but we called him Craigie after a very close family friend that passed right before we adopted him), took a turn for the worst and Bowie Towne Vet was able to get him in at 11AM the Monday morning I called. They did what they could and took bloodwork that would be in the next day, but later that same day he passed on his own, which obviously was very hard on us. When Dr Seddon called the next day with the bloodwork, he explained it was very indicative that he more than likely had a tumor on his pancreas because of how low his blood sugar was and there was no way to cure that. He also said he was quite positive that he wasn't suffering during this time at all, which meant a lot! The cremation was handled so

It was our first visit here. Our dog's back legs suddenly gave out. They triaged him immediately upon arrival but then there was a 6-8hr wait to see the doctor .Yikes. We stayed and made the best of the situation. They gave him meds to keep him comfortable. I sent my son to the store to get a crate as our dog would not endure sitting there for several hours in my lap. Finally got in with the doctor and was given our options on how to take care of our dog. Over all a good experience, just didn't like how long it took

My wife and I switched to this vet after being really unsatisfied with the other location near us. And it is night and day. The staff are all super accommodating of pets needs, owners needs. They take great care to make sure your animals are safe, and the doctor is easily one of the most understanding and educational vets I've ever met. Use this vet.

I started to distrust banfield and took my cat Hubie here - it was the right choice. Everyone is very friendly and responsive and Dr. Seddon takes the time to answer questions and explain all options. Hubie is feeling much better and I couldn't be happier.

The Doctors here love their profession!!!! It shows in every suggestion, conversation, patience, joyful demeanor and really shows that they really care about my baby boy Kobe and all the other Pets they care for here in their office!!! Nice front office staff always kind and pleasant they CARE!!!
