I’ve been trying for a couple years to get in here….i hated hauling my kitties 20 mins to visit the vet…Dr Susan is an absolute dream….you can absolutely tell she’s not in her profession for the money, but for her love of animals….i recently took in a stray and I cannot even begin to tell you how much she worked with me through the whole process of neutering him to calling to check on him, making sure he was ok….i could go on for days about this lovely woman…as well as the rest of the staff there….i cannot speak highly enough of this place….this will be my forever vet….thank you to everyone there, so so much….every single one of you is amazing!!

As a first-time patient bringing in my cat who was struggling to walk, I couldn’t be more grateful for the recommendation to come here (my father brings his cats as well). Since my regular vet was fully booked, I decided to try Boston Valley—and I’m so glad I did! The building itself is spotless and welcoming, and the receptionist was both friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. The vet tech was incredibly kind, and the level of compassion and care I experienced here far surpassed what I’ve encountered elsewhere. I’ve had emergencies with my other cat in the past, and nowhere in the Southtowns has provided the same quality of care and understanding as Boston Valley Animal Hospital. Definitely try to upsell you EVERY. APPOINTMENT. It's very unprofessional. Put a 1,000 bill estimate in front of me and thought I would just agree to everything. The vet does not seem to understand that people do not have 400+ to spend every appointment. The vet always pushes that they need all medication on the estimate, even if it's 4 or 5 different ones. It's insane. Definitely looking around for another one.

They are awesome! I take my rabbit there to get his nails cut when needed. I stand by my 1st review, I feel I need to add to it. It's been 5yrs since, we've moved to OP but still go to Boston Valley! 8/26/24 I went to feed my bun Hot Pocket. Only to find him unable to get up plus in extreme pain. He screamed when I picked him up. I live 3 minutes from the OP animal hospital ER, however I was refused service because he was a rabbit!!! (An exotic animal apparently) told to go to 3 other veterinarians, all to refuse my baby service!!! Last I said go to Boston Valley they know him they trimmed his nails for me. No questions asked they took care of Hot Pocket immediately!!! Unfortunately he broke his back. They cremated my bun & we're so sympathetic, they went above & beyond the services they o
