Tobie, Gabe, Candi and the team were amazing in getting our pup to us. When we expressed desire in adopting a dog, the communication is was helpful, informative and in the best interest of our new adopted dog Drago! They were wonderful in taking our current situation into account and figuring out the details that would be important to consider prior to adoption. When we adopted we hadn’t yet purchased a crate so they offered to loan us one. They were clear on the needs our dog would have but were willing to do so much to help pair us up with the right dog along the way. Tobie also shared and paired us with all resources to ensure our dog would not only make it home but have access to tools to make him the best fit for our family. We highly recommend B&R for the integrity and care the show

Tobie and Mason were amazing. I can't say enough about how helpful and accommodating they were. Everyone here truly cares for these animals and it shows. I had visited other shelters and was so happy to have ended up here. They give you time to bond with the dog (without 10 or so people hovering around you). They knew how to introduce my dog to the adoptive dog so that it wasn't stressful on either of them and knew exactly what dogs would be a good fit for my girl. These two pups are now the best of friends! I would recommend this facility to anyone!! Thank you for all you do 🤍

This is a shelter for dogs that are rescue from the city of Syracuse, NY. I went there because I am fostering a puppy for them.

I went to an adoption event as I was looking to adopt, and one of the ladies basically treated me like I had no idea what I was doing. She literally scoffed when I said I was interested in one of the German shepherds. How are you going to adopt any dogs out if you treat people like they're stupid?

I was dropped off in an Uber this morning to have my cat neutered. As I was getting out of the car, a woman came out and asked me: "What are you doing?" I responded that I was bringing my cat to his appointment. She went on to tell me I got it wrong and it was Mondays. I explained I received a call and text that it was March 30th at 8am. She told me that was wrong and I needed to call them to straighten it out. So I said fine. She then said: So what are you doing?" I responded that I was waiting on an Uber since the Uber that dropped me off wasn't taking me home. She went back inside and sent out some guy who stood 5 feet in front of me and stared straight in my face until my Uber came and then stared me down as I pulled off. And mind you, my Uber took 15 minutes to arrive and I had to put
