BluePearl Pet Hospital

We were recently given a list of 4 ophthalmologists from our primary care veterinarian for our 14 yo dog. Blue Pearl was the first one on the list. After calling each one of the options, I immediately called Blue Pearl back. I can’t say enough about our experience…from the first person I spoke to on the phone, to the very sweet receptionist that gave me a hug when I left, everyone was so caring! The doctor was very thorough and the discharge paper included a detailed summary of all the information she shared (which was so helpful). I am so grateful we landed in their office and highly recommend Blue Pearl. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the staff for bringing comfort to a very scary situation for me and my family💙

Our family is deeply grateful to the oncology team at BluePearl for the care they gave our beloved dog during his radiation treatment last year. From the very first visit, the team was kind, efficient, and incredibly compassionate. They treated him with gentleness and respect, and he never seemed fearful going in for his appointments — which says a lot. The radiation was successful. He achieved partial remission, and we were given over a year of additional quality time with him. The tumor in his front paw did not return, which was incredibly important for his mobility and comfort. That extra time meant everything to us. I came to Blue Pearl with my corgi Gus with difficulty breathing. They immediately took him back to an oxygen cage and gave X-rays with unfortunate news that my poor dog had lung cancer that had metastasized and it was unlikely he would last long. I made the terrible decision to let him go the next day. When I returned to Blue Pearl they greeted me with a smile and asked what they could do for me. As I choked out the words that we were there to put Gus down, I was met with the most compassion I could’ve asked for in our moment of grief. They did everything to make sure my pet and I were comfortable and given the privacy to grieve our decision before his final moments. My kitten was diagnosed with a serious condition and my regular vet had sent in a RX but it was a weekend so I would t get it until Tues. I was able to go to Blue Pearl and get a dose right away. It helped him almost immediately! I was very impressed by the facility and all the people working there. It's not close to where I live but if I ever need after hours care for a pet this will me the place ilI take them. They were amazing!

I would say 5 stars, but I do not like the extreme pricing. However, I have always been able to rely on BluePearl for emergencies or specialists. I have been going to this location for about 4 years, and they have treated my pets with care and consideration. They also are understanding and let me work with my primary vet on some tests since I can't afford some of their rates, which my primary vet will send the results to them (this is just for simple things that any vet can do like blood work, they can't with everything understandably). One of my cats has cancer and another has GI issues. So I see two of their specialists. Dr Elie is great for GI issues, and so is their oncologist for cancer treatment. The staff is friendly.
