BluePearl Pet Hospital

The care we received at Blue Pearl Lakewood is top notch. We felt so supported from the initial interactions with the clerks on the phone establishing the appointment, to the techs who feel like friends each visit, and the excellent guidance of Dr. Bouche. She has been so involved in our mini doxie’s IVDD care. Every need is met in a timely manner and she is so detail oriented in his treatment plan. She is so patient with explaining all options, and you can tell she truly cares for her patients. Transferring care to Blue Pearl was the best decision for our family.

We took our dog to Blue Pearl because she swallowed a needle and they were amazing! As soon as we got there they took her to be monitored immediately, the wait time wasn’t long only a couple hours, the staff was so kind and assuring that everything would be okay and she was in the best hands. The VMD, Sheppard Thorp, was beyond kind and met us in the middle with our financial situation and explained in detail what would happen and what he would do to help. He was able to get the needle out and called immediately after he was done with the procedure. Amazing staff, receptionists were informational and supportive. I couldn’t be more grateful for the service and comfort they selflessly provided! Thank you Bluepearl Pet Hospital from the bottom of our hearts for helping our fur baby!

Seamus was so very sick. We arrived at the emergency room at 3 in the morning. They were deeply kind, helpful, compassionate. They saw him immediately for triage and then were able to take him for treatment. He was suffering and we were...well, frightened. His eyes darted, he vomited, he couldn't walk. Was it a stroke? Worse? Is he going to live? Reassurance. A vestibular issue. Medicines, lots of rest, watchful waiting. They do good work at Blue Pearl. It's not cheap. But neither is the life of a loved animal. Bless you all.

Very nice clean, well organized facility. We saw the dentist and she was phenomenal. She took time to answer all questions and drew pictures on a white board. I saw an emergency come in and they were so fast taking the dog right back. I'm very pleased with our visit and especially happy to receive the extra information and products I asked for. Very highly recommend!

We had to see the internal medicine specialist for our visit. I absolutely loved the staff. Everyone was super friendly. Our vet was equally amazing. She gave us plenty of information and even sent us a great write up afterwards. The only things that I would like to see improved is availability to see the specialists. We had to wait over a week and when your pet is sick that is a long wait - we ended up getting antsy and getting tests from our primary vet we didn’t need. The pricing is also very steep - I am sure there is something that can be done to make the pricing more reasonable so that people didn’t have to weigh excessive costs over medical care. Overall I am giving 5 stars for the service I received but they do need improvements on appointment availability and pricing
