Blue Water Kennels

I got my pup back she smelled like urine, she now has a fever and a raspy bark. ( I understand she is a barker and it can happen) but the fever is a bit much. I had confidence dropping her off seeing they said bring stuff machine washable and I got her belongings back smelling like potent urine! I now need to make her a vet appointment because of the fever! And the small dog kennel seems super small. I feel like they didn't try hard enough with her despite knowing the fact that she was a bit nervous!

I've never kennels a dog before, but our 8yo lab/retriever made it necessary. They went above and beyond to accommodate her craziness. This isn't some fancy dog spa, but people who really love the animals and do it all themselves. Imo, the daily rates are very reasonable for the care they get.

We used Blue Water Kennels for the first time when we were in Mexico the last two weeks. Excellent service! Nice, clean place with lots of room and the employees really love animals! They took perfect care of our Standard Schnauzer!! I have been on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Better Business Bureau for over 20 years and I would recommend Blue Water Kennels to anyone I know!

My puppy loved it their. He stayed for two months and I got him back a little bit more socialised. Super friendly Ladies! Super clean! The puppies have a inside-outside kennel and can decide by them self when they want to be in or out. A bonus is, you can book the dog-hotel online!

I own two french bulldogs. They have no air conditioning. They should never purport them selves as able to care for my dogs in August. Their facility is completely ill equipped to handle short nosed dogs. Climate control is a must for them. They however seemed to think pouring water on them is sufficient. I toured this facility at 9am and it was already well over 80 degrees inside. Can't even imagine how hot it gets mid day in August. So glad I toured rather than take their word for granted.
