Blue Ridge Vet has been great to work with. They have always been very responsive and helpful when I have had an issue with my pets. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

My first experience was over the phone with the receptionist. She was very understanding and compassionate. When I got there, it was a nice clean environment (didn't smell like pee at all). The wait time wasn't long. The vet took his time and let my dog get comfortable with him (my dog is normally a bit standoffish/nervous with strangers, especially males). The vet listened to all my concerns. Gave me options and information. I didn't feel judged or like they were trying to push extra services on me. And they were also very affordable. 10/10 recommend

Our cat started having gastrointestinal issues so I brought him here. Over the course of two and a half years of seeing Dr. Nicolo, no solution was ever found. Outside of very basic blood work and trying Gabapentin and a topical steroid, no additional options were presented once those didn't work. The final straw came when I informed them that the topical steroid did not work, and asked if we should take him off the gabapentin. I was given a response that they didn't advise that but if I wanted to try it here's how. NO additional options for treatment were given to try and resolve this issue, and I very much felt as though we had been brushed off and this was something that we were expected to live with. After trying a few things suggested by Google, I decided to seek out a second opinion,

We have been to most of the Veterinary Offices around the area. Blue Ridge Veterinary Hospital is our choice for pets care. This feels like home and we received quality care and the prices are more friendly than any other we have been to. We are happy here.

Friendly staff. I really liked the vet . He took great care of my dog.
