Blind Spot Animals Sanctuary

We had a great time touring the sanctuary! Learned lots about the animals living here, their upkeep, and stories of how they arrived. It was fun and educational. All the animals were super cute and pretty friendly. Well worth the day trip :)

The Blind Spot Animal Sanctuary is one of the best in the area! The owners have the utmost respect and love for these rescued souls. They both work full time jobs and still give 1000% to the precious kids. I would recommend anyone in the Triangle take an educational tour! You will learn a lot about these animals and the tireless work the owners and volunteers do!

We had the privilege of visiting this amazing sanctuary this past summer. We were impressed with the tremendous amount of work it requires on a daily basis to maintain and the high standards that are kept for each animal. The volunteers were all very friendly and so very kind stopping what they were doing to welcome us. We stayed for the greater part of the hot day and visited every pen “scooping poop” with experienced volunteers Erin and Jeff. The 4 of us got the job done in no time and felt proud we were in a small way able to help. Alex saw us and took time out of his work day to come out to introduce himself and thank us. Beautiful amazing sanctuary with beautiful amazing souls that give so much to help the previously neglected and abused animals see a better side of the world.

This sanctuary is truly a save haven for animals and people. The moment I stepped here first to volunteer I was immediately filled with joy. I was greeted by one of the goats who demanded I give him some welcoming pets. The other volunteers Are so helpful getting me started and so patient with me. I truly love this place. Hearing the animals backgrounds are truly heartbreaking hearing how A lot of them were treated. One specific one that stuck with me was a pig used as dog fighting bait and had acid thrown on her, looking at her you’d never be able to tell because she was so sweet and healthy now. That story sticks with me because of how traumatic her past is and how far she’s come with the loving help provided here. People are saying they’ve had bad experiences, but honestly the owners, v

We have been volunteering at the Blind Spot Animal Sanctuary for almost a year now and it has been an incredibly fulfilling experience. Everyone there is so kind, generous, and the animals are the happiest you’ve ever seen and full of love and ready for ear scratches, belly rubs, and attention.
