I would just like to spot light Dr. Kara Schmidt. She absolutely chose the right field of work. She was great with my fur baby Kodiak 🐾 . She took the time to address my concerns and even created a care plan process of elimination for Kodiaks allergy issue. I highly recommend Blanchard Valley Veterinarian Clinic, especially Kara. I have been going to BVVC for about 5 years now. I have had to have 3 dachshunds put to sleep for various reasons. Tuesday I had to.put the last one to sleep. Unfi had vet tech Ashley and Dr. Fields. I have always seen either Dr. Simith,Schmidt or Fuller. This time they put me with Fields and Asley. I have to say that they had about as much compassion as a dead 🪳 🪳. They were just uncaring. When I told Ashley that I didn't care for Dr. Fields, her response was "that is who you wre assigned to." I asked if I could pay $46. Of the $246. When I picked up the ashes, she stated that all services must be paid at the time of service. She was rude. I asked what happened if someone didn't have enough money? I was told then they could work it out with who ever was in charge of that. I will never be

I've been going to BVVC for two years now. I unfortunately had two cats pass (Cancer & cardiac arrest - not related to vet care), and the staff were so kind to me. As a student, I had to deal with the death and diagnoses of both cats by myself, and the staff were so wonderful and kind to me. I could tell that they were just as upset as I was because they truly care about all of the pets in their care.

They took great care of my bunny, Mochi, when he went in to get neutered. They made sure to take every precaution to make the procedure as safe as possible for him. Everyone was very kind and explained the whole process and kept us updated the whole time. They even trimmed his nails and got some of the mats out of his fur! They also see my cats and have taken good care of them every time. I definitely recommend them, they will care for your pet to the best of their abilities. Good people here. Nice people but extreme lack of communication that ended up being a massive waste of time and money for absolutely nothing to get done. First vet said to collect multiple pee samples ourselves over a few days and bring it in. Second vet said they only accept one singular sample that must be refrigerated. House smells like pee and cat still sick
