Black Forest Dog Resort

I brought my pup here to get help with co-mingling since I was moving in with my partner and they also have a dog. Having a reactive pup, this was a very stressful time for me, but the Black Forest Dog Resort made the transition super easy for our whole family. They provided regular videos of the training sessions and guidance on how to move forward. Our pups are now best friends!

DISAPPOINTED to say the least. Unprofessional customer service, poor communication, bad documentation, unethical use of a shock collar, overlooked care. Signed my dog up for an overnight trial to see how he did and familiarize him with the location. There was nothing written in his chart at pickup, good or bad. Dropped off the following week for 4 days of boarding and signed him up for additional daily walks. Called the facility 7 times over the first 3 days with NO ANSWER. Left a voicemail and did not receive a call back. On the third afternoon sent emergent text to call me asap to check on my dog. They finally called back and sure enough my dog's orders were not being followed, his walks were "not documented correctly", "overlooked" and the dog walker was "too busy". To top it all off i

This place is a life saver for us taking care of Harlee (our young GSD pup)! We have such peace of mind taking him for daycare here. We know he'll be loved and receive great care. We also love when we see him making one of their Facebook reels which is so fun to see. 10/10 A++++ recommend!!!!! You will not be disappointed. Thank you Megan and staff for all you do. :)

One of the few places I trust with my dogs, and I drive quite a ways for that trust. It’s such a relief knowing they’re in safe and knowledgeable hands, I can actually relax on my vacations. Megan and her husband go above and beyond for their clients and I’ve been completely satisfied every stay!

Megan and her staff took such good care of my two girls for two weeks they didn’t want to come home. Both dogs get so excited when we make that last turn into the driveway! They know where they are and what fun they will be having!! Thank you to my fabulous dog walkers and thank you to the amazing grooming department for making my girls soft and smelling sweet for me!
