// cross posted to Yelp This is a long overdue review as we had our first appointment with Mary at the end of February and it’s now May. Mary is absolutely outstanding. I cannot recommend her enough. Our goldendoodle, Gimli, is leash-reactive to other dogs in close quarters, and we were upfront with Mary about this. We also shared that he had previously been blacklisted from a grooming salon after trying (but failing) to nip at another dog. Despite this, Mary graciously agreed to see Gimli on a Sunday. As it turns out, she’s actually closed on Sundays, but she offered the appointment so she could guarantee he wouldn’t encounter other dogs. I can’t say enough good things about Mary at Bit O Blarney Grooming! My dog had been struggling with aggression, especially around grooming, and it was a stressful experience for both of us. Mary went above and beyond — she even opened up on a Sunday so my dog could come in without other animals around. She was incredibly observant, patient, and knew exactly when to push forward and when to pause to reward him. The progress was unbelievable — she told me he was “110% better,” and I could see it too. Mary treated us like family, offered thoughtful advice, and told me I could always reach out if I needed anything. amazing beautiful job on our great pyrenees!! He was a mess! He got a hair cut, shampooed and blow dried. He looks amazing! Im so happy with these ladies! Thank you!!!

Took sprout my long haired kitty here to get a bath, brush, and sanitary trim. I loved the end results. Sprout was loving the bath she received and Mary sent me a video of her in the tub. I am definitely going to be bringing her back for her haircuts!

They are great and doing a wonderful job. I have a Husky mix and a Bernese Mix and they're both a lot of work. Everytime they come back from the groomer they look like show dogs :) Very pleased with Bit O'Blarney and highly recommend them.
