Heather is amazing! I've taken 3 baby squirrels to her and she takes them immediately and makes sure they're taken care of. She's extremely busy with the animals, make sure to leave a message and she will get back to you!
What an incredible place. They really care about animals and people. I had found a bunny that was hurt and took it to multiple vets. I finally was told to call Birds in flight. I was immediately reassured and brought the baby bunny in. They don't just take birds. They take small animals as well, free of charge. Please consider calling them if you have a small animal you found. Wonderful people.
Found 2 tiny baby wrens in our field & had no idea what to do or how to care for them! Thankfully I called Birds in Flight & Heather offered to take them. Unfortunately 1 passed away before we made it to her, but she's currently trying to nurse the other back to health as he wasn't doing well either. She's such a kind, wonderful, & knowledgeable woman!
Heather is an amazing woman, so willing to help even in a pinch. So highly recommend this angel!!!! Thank you for helping the baby bunnies last night Heather!!!
I found a baby sparrow and couldn’t find a place to take him/her, I called all day while feeding every hour n a half and keeping the baby warm on a heating pad and blankets, finally I found this kind women. Thank you for what you do.
