Beyond the fact that these folks do wonderful work here it's also great to have a pet shop in the neighborhood that is reasonably priced and run by friendly people

I’ve only visited once. But this place seems to be doing a really good work at getting homeless kittens off the streets and into loving homes! They even have several precious little kittens roaming the store, so when you go, please watch your step; they’re so tiny and so quiet. I bought several toys and a blanket for my cat. And so far, he has enjoyed both. My heart is for kittens/cats, so the fact that they do well for them earns them a 5 star rating in my book! The included photo is of my cat enjoying a lazy Sunday afternoon on his new blanket.

Everytime I put in an application to adopt a dog. It’s denied & then when I reach out for more questions and concerns they say the dog has been adopted.MAKE SURE TO READ THE LOW RATED REVIEWS FIRST! yes there are only a few but read them.

Wonderful pet shop and animal rescue facility. We were just traveling through New Orleans and happened upon this place by accident. We are so glad we did. We volunteered a few hours' time with the current group of rescue kittens, which was a highlight of our trip. I highly recommend stopping in to pick up supplies, treats, or toys for your furry friends or even better, volunteering to help with their feline family if you're able.

These were the most awesome love-overloaded-people in the 8th Ward that I have had the pleasure of having come across since I have lived here in New Orleans! I'm sorry I didn't visit this place before now!!!!! They are just simply amazing human beings and they genuinely do care about the animals that are being rescued.... brownie points sprinkles I have thrown all over the place! Thank you for your Big ole hearts y'all!
