My elderly dog was not doing well over the weekend and when my family vet office was unable to help, better pet fit me in right away. They were very patient and kind and loving to me during a very painful time. They helped Lexi pass peacefully. These veterinary professionals are truly compassionate and put your pet first. Highly recommend and deeply appreciate their kindness and dedication to pets ❤️

Took my diabetic cat in because he had been refusing to eat or drink water and was throwing up for a couple days. I need to start off by saying I went 2 days in a row, and both days staff at front desk were beyond friendly and kind. Even the techs I got on both days were kind and compassionate and listened to all I had to say, I had pictures of medications given and currently in use, explained brief back history of my cat and current history and challenges we were facing. I felt heard and was hopeful that we would be taken care of, the patient rooms were wonderful with calming stress reducing ambience noise, that's about where the good ended. My dog had a health emergency while he was boarded and I was out of town. The boarding kennel took him to BetterPet for treatment. Although this was a horrible situation, the staff at BetterPet did a wonderful job caring for him and keeping in contact with me while my dog was in their care. Most importantly, they followed through at every step: when they said they'd email his results to us and to our regular vet, they did. When I had to seek additional treatment for my dog a week later, they immediately forwarded all relevant test results and imaging to my emergency vet. Any time I had a question or request, they were incredibly helpful, courteous, and responsive. Their professionalism not only made this scary situation easier to navigate, it also allowed us to get my dog the care he neede

I had to take my almost 18 yr old dachshund mix in for possible euthanasia. Immediately we were taken to a room and given the courtesy of her having to be put down. They were compassionate answered our questions and reassured me when I needed it. My dog was almost 18 she was my son's 16th bday present. Along the years she bonded with me, so I couldn't see her passing on without me being there needless to say its been a rough day but I know she running and sleeping on someone's pillow and grumbling to everyone. Extremely disappointing experience that felt more like a money grab than veterinary care. We brought our dog in for a paw injury and received little to no hands-on physical examination. We were initially told she needed antibiotics but that there was “no cut,” which was confusing given the visible injury present. The injury was only acknowledged after we had to show photos on our own phone, which should never be necessary when seeking medical care. Instead of a thorough exam or conservative treatment, the vet immediately jumped to recommending sedation and x-rays, with an estimate of $1,100, without first offering basic pain management, proper bandaging, or observation.
