Better Together Dog Rescue

We adopted these two sweet babies from Better Together Dog Rescue just over two years ago. We found the organization by chance, but have since determined it must have been fate. I have never seen an animal rescue origination that is as dedicated to the welfare of dogs as this organization is. It is run entirely by volunteers and yet it manages to function full time. When we adopted through this organization we had open access to the founder and adoption coordinator to answer any questions we might have. Following the adoption we continued to be offered support and guidance to ensure that our puppies made a smooth transition into our home. The dogs we adopted through this organization have truly completed our family. We are so grateful to BTDR for bringing us together!

I joined fostering around June. They’ve worked so hard to make it possible for me to foster. These are my current and past fosters. All of them have taught and given me more than I could ever give them, so I’m thankful to this rescue for saving them and making me feel good as a foster mom that they find loving homes. The community of volunteers and fosters is amazing too. From the moment they rescue the dogs they get to feel unconditional love and trust humans.

I got my dog from BTDR and have continued to foster for them and they’re the best! They do amazing work for dogs that otherwise wouldnt have a chance. They provide everything you need to foster and have a wonderful network for support!

It was kinda unprofessional and awkward the foster mom wouldn’t leave and seemed like she wanted to keep the dog… which is fine but why did I come here in the first place? Also they said he was “great on the leash” and he was choking himself. So honesty seems like an issue here

Everyone at BTDR goes above and beyond. It’s an absolutely amazing organization, with amazing volunteers and pups. We fostered our dog from them and ended up adopting him, and then we fostered another puppy and will continue to do so. They care so much about their dogs and the people who take care of them. Two weeks after adopting my dog I realized he was about to be out of date on his heart worm meds and a volunteer drove at night to my house to drop some off… no other rescue puts dogs first the way they do!
