Was my first week living here.. my pups found a way out of the fence that no one could see. Drove around for an hour crying and making talk with anyone in the neighborhood that was outside. Finally found a lady holding my baby outside and ran there, thought good things, but she was evil, and had no intentions to return my dog. She called animal control about transfer of rights. 2 of my pups got loose through the fence and she only wanted one of them specifically. Even was willing to lie about the time that they had gotten loose because we had just moved here a few days ago. Later the woman was walking into Animal control person‘s truck and laying on his seat in and inappropriately asking for spay/neuter deals. First time living In bliffton and want nothing to do with.

Very caring and loving people. You can tell the staff love their jobs. We found a stray chiwawa at our church. He was scared to death. Took a while for him to trust me enough to pick him up, but we feed him and delivered him to some great people.

I had to surrender a male cat there. The ppl I spoke to were above the word kind. I hope Como finds a great home, that he's the only King in the house. Thanks for your kindness, much appreciated....plz go visit Como for a possible adoption...❤️❤️❤️

While I understand the facility is currently overun and surrenders, I now know are by appointment, it was an hours drive over and my daughter was very upset, crying that she had to give up her two cats ( a friend had done a walk in drop off a week earlier). The one girl at the desk explained all in a detached manner, not once saying "I'm sorry. I understand this is always a difficult decision and I really wish I could help. " show a little empathy! They did eventually offer to post the potential adoption on the website and we think we have a potential new home. I know the staff probably have to do this all the time but they shouldn't lose touch with the heartbreak of having to give up a pet especially because of lost income.

Such a wonderful staff. So caring of animals no matter the circumstances or how they come in. So quick to help get the stray puppy we found in to get neutered and his shots. Definitely plan to adopt more at a later date. Go adopt yourself a wonderful furbaby into you forever home!
