Amazing place, very professional and helpful. They didn't pressure us when we asked to meet several dogs, and we're super helpful with our adoption. We ended up chosing to wait a few months before getting our puppy " fixed" and scheduling it was a breeze. Worth every penny! Great selection of animals and caring staff.
Super caring & clean facility. The staff is amazing! The Kitty Cat Condo Building is berry cool with several separate rooms & a nice screened area for them to go inside & outside at their leisure, in that area, on their own. The new addition on the 2nd floor is to help train the dogs so they are used to being handled & socialized.
I recently adopted 2 sibling kittens from Baywater. After having seen a kitten I was interested in online, I called Baywater and set up an appointment to meet the little guy. The facility was clean and well managed. The staff was helpful and animals well cared for. The adoption was seamless. I had filled out the pet adoption papers on line. For a nominal, fee (which includes spay/neuter and chipping). I now have 2 beautiful, loving family members (his sister proved to be irresistible). They sent us home with a blanket, toys, and food for them. I was a bit hesitant to get 2 kittens. As it turns out, they are both are very loving, are loaded with personality, and get along very well with our 4 year old Golden Retriever. I would definitely rescue from Baywater again.
My family was fostering a 12 week old Shep (mix probably) in early August. Wilson (renamed Harley) stole our heart. We found out he had come from Puerto Rico days before I picked him up. After 2 weeks he went back to the rescue to be neutered. I informed the rescue that Harley had a stomach issue and it needed to be addressed. His stool was liquid and we tried everything to settle his stomach. Turns out this rescue sent us home with a VERY SICK puppy. Harley had Giardia and was put on meds. I talked to Elena Gowe who was the only person I had been dealing with. We were able to pick him up and were sent home with medicine. He had to take an antibiotic and was given medicine to take three weeks later. Elena texted me on a Monday telling me I needed to bring him back for neutering Tuesday. I
I got my new baby from there Fri. Cinderalla is now Ella. She’s so sweet and settled right in. Follows me everywhere. The staff there is remarkable. I was slow picking a cat they were so patient. Answered all questions. I recommend if you want to adopt go there. They care about their animals. Thank you again ladies.
