Bayview Animal Hospital Layton

Bayview Animal Hospital is very reasonably priced and the location in Layton always has appointments available. We used to live in Bountiful and would drive to Layton for services and now we live in downtown SLC and drive even farther for services. We've never had a problem with quality of care and have used them over the last few years on 5 different dogs from a large great dane to a small french bulldog. The facility is large and newer with room to relieve your dogs before/after their appointments. They also have a special room and great process for end-of-life situations with your animals, should the need arise. I routinely recommend to anyone who will listen to leave their high priced inferior veterinary and go to the Layton office of Bayview.

The care, compassion, and consistency from the entire team over the years has been incredible. They have taken such wonderful care of our animals through every stage of life, from routine visits to the hardest end-of-life moments, and have always treated both our pets and our family with so much kindness and respect. I am writing this review with a heavy heart, because Bayview Animal Hospital has been a part of my family’s life for decades. My parents started taking our pets to Bayview in the 1980s, back when Dr. White’s father was practicing. Dr. White himself has always been my go-to vet. The care, compassion, and kindness he has shown me and my animals over the years is something I will always be grateful for. He embodied what a family-run veterinary practice should be. Unfortunately, since Dr. White has stepped back from the clinic, Bayview has experienced a steady and heartbreaking decline. There is no consistency at the front desk, the wait times are horrendous, and the Layton clinic in particular feels like an absolute circus. I have taken my dog, Lucie, to Bayview in both Layton and Farmington. Lucie has always hated going to the vet. Until now! Brandy did a major tooth cleaning, which literally changed Lucie’s health for the better. Lucie loves Dr. Crane and Dr. Noyes and is happy to see them. The reception staff, including Polly and Shelby, are professional, interested, and helpful. Finally, the prices at Bayview are reasonable and less than I have been used to paying. A great find!

Bayview is an amazing place with wonderful people. Our 13 1/2 year old dog we had actually scheduled for him to be seen and possibly euthanized on a Monday. Our vet was on vacation and things got real bad real fast on the Wednesday before so my husband called Bayview and they told us to bring him down. They did an examination and told us that it absolutely should be done as soon as possible. They were so compassionate and helpful for all three of us, and although it was a heartbreaking moment in mine and my husband‘s life, we really appreciated that Bayview was there for us and our sweet boy.
