We have been using Bark's since 2016. Catie, Mary and their team are wonderfully caring people that always make you feel safe leaving your furry family members with them. My big dog gets so excited when he is going for a playdate at Barks he can hardly stand it, he explodes with excitement!

I have never written an online review for a business- but I had to change that in order to give Barks and Recreation 5 stars. I feel completely comfortable leaving my dog Bear with them. They are lovely, accommodating people. We have boarded, groomed and done daycare with them several times and it has been a completely wonderful experience each time. They go above and beyond, listen to any concerns or questions you have about your dog, and have met every single request I’ve made of them- whether it is specialty food, applying eye drops, etc. I have never once felt dismissed or ignored or that the people there are fed up with animals- and that’s unusual amongst boarding facilities in my experience. We use them for our dog every time we go out of town. Our pup gets so excited when we drop him off.

They do an incredible job with our puppy, and we know that because our dog now zooms out of the car and runs straight inside when we get there ever since our first boarding. Couldn't care less that we're about to leave. We've left him there for a few nights as well as up to 10 nights at a time. Whenever we called, they were always available to chat and seemed excited to let us know how he is doing (despite how annoying that probably is for them). If they were unavailable at the moment, they called back quickly. I highly recommend Barks and Recreation.

I couldn’t get a good vibe here. My dog has gone to every daycare in town and loves every place he has been, but when I dropped him off here for his trial day he was refusing to go and whimpered for the absolute first time in his life… Also, the website says the temperament trial is no charge and that is completely untrue
