This place is simply the best, the people are great, friendly and knowledgeable. The owner and the manager are both extremely good people, and I’d be happy to spend a little more to support them rather than going corporate or online. The best part is, you don’t have to spend more! Pricing and selection is just as good as anything online, chewy or petsmart don’t even compare. These guys have earned a customer for life with the way they treat their customers, and today, good customer service isn’t only hard to come by, it’s almost non existent. I also have an extremely picky sensitive dog, and they’ve been incredible at helping me accommodate him. Absolutely love Barkley’s!

I ran out of the only catfood my cat will eat...we've tried to give her alternatives to Walmart Rachel Ray's before, but it's as addictive as junk food to her. And I let her run out, got the pleading text, and absolutely did not want to go to Walmart on a freezing Saturday. But- Barkley's.was.right.next.to.me. The staff and owner hooked me up with a similar flavor profile of a much healthier brand, and made sure to set it up so that I could get a full refund if she didnt like it MY 4 year old cat? Turned into a kitten. She plays. She hunts. She chases. We mixed it into her regular food to get her used to it- added benefit, she no longer overeats and gets sick, because she's more cautious- but her coat is glossy, and she is chonky but active and obviously much happier. All the employees go out of their way to help you find what you need for your pet. My dog Lady loves walking up to Barkley’s as a special treat. I love being able to shop locally where we are treated like family.

Me, my husband and our boy Theo stopped by while in town after Christmas shopping because I was looking for a place that carried our dogs food orijen and I saw they had some! What a wonderful experience it was meeting the people working there! They were so welcoming and helpful and loved Theo! Theo been nervous to go in stores for a while because of a loud sound that occured last in a store before but he was so comfortable in their store and I couldn't believe it! Highly recommend this place! They carry great products and are great people! Theo spotted one of his Christmas presents so I gave him half and he loved it! Thank you guys!!

I stopped into Barkley’s looking for new food options for my two beagles and cannot say enough good things about the help and education that the staff provided. She walked through all the options while taking into consideration the breed, their specific health needs, and my desired price point. I was so impressed by and appreciative of her knowledge on all aspects of animal care. I have been trying to find healthier alternatives for my fur babies and despite all the self education I still never felt confident that I was giving them all they need.
